DAY TRIPS from SALEM . . . Marblehead Harbor and Historic Old Town: 5 minutes by car. Boston: 35 minutes by car or train, 50 minutes by bus. Cape Ann, Gloucester, Rockport: 35 minute, scenic coastal drive. Concord and Lexington: 40 minutes by car. Kittery, Maine Shopping Outlets: 55 minutes north via I-95. Essex and Georgetown Antique Co-Ops: 35 minutes by car. Plum Island Wildlife Refuge: 45 minutes north.

DIRECTIONS to THE COACH HOUSE

From Logan Airport (25 minute drive) - Take Rte. 1A North from airport directly to Salem.  At Salem State College (the Main Campus, NOT the South Campus) turn left at traffic lights onto Lafayette Street.  We are on the left hand side of the street, two blocks from the College at the corner of Lafayette and Ocean Ave. Our parking lot is off Ocean Ave. From Rte. I95 - Follow I95 North (I95 N. & 128 N. share the same road for the loop around Boston.  When the roads divide, stay on Rte. 128 N.)  [Special Note:  At this point, exit numbers drop from #45 to #28].  From Rte. 128 N., take Exit 25A and follow Rte. 114 East. In Salem, continue to follow signs for Rte. 114 East and Salem State College.  This will take you on to Lafayette St.  We are about 3/4 mile up on the right at the corner of Lafayette and Ocean Ave. Our parking lot is off Ocean Ave.
