A Stylish Salem Escape
The property is beautifully updated, with a clean, modern aesthetic that still feels warm and inviting. The lobby alone is worth swooning over. The chandeliers dripping from the ceiling give the space a touch of glam, perfectly paired with sleek furnishings and elegant décor. It’s the kind of place where you immediately think, I wish my house looked like this. The space feels boutique and exclusive, giving you that elevated hotel experience without the hustle and bustle of a big chain. The rooms at The Coach House strike the ideal balance between comfort and style. The décor is minimalist yet luxurious, with plush bedding, soft lighting, and an overall sense of calm. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring Salem’s many attractions.
Salem is known for its connection to all things witchy and whimsical, but one of the biggest highlights of The Coach House’s location is its proximity to some iconic filming spots. Just a short walk away, you’ll find the famous Hocus Pocus House, better known to fans as Max and Dani’s home from the beloved Halloween classic. As someone who grew up watching Hocus Pocus on repeat every fall, being that close to such an iconic movie landmark felt surreal.
Even better, Pioneer Village is also nearby-another filming location from the movie, and if you’re up for a quick drive, Marblehead, another stunning coastal town, is just minutes away. Known for its rocky beaches, historic homes, and picturesque harbor views, Marblehead offers a quieter, scenic escape from the bustle of downtown Salem. It’s the perfect add-on to your trip if you’re looking to mix in some coastal charm with your witch city adventures.
One of my favorite aspects of the stay was the self check-in and check-out process, which made everything feel effortless. There’s no waiting in long lines at a front desk, just seamless, contactless entry that makes arriving and departing stress-free. This is especially nice when you’re arriving late or juggling a packed sightseeing schedule.
The Coach House isn’t just a place to stay-it’s an experience. Whether you’re visiting during spooky season or planning a year-round New England escape, The Coach House is a stay that elevates your Salem adventure. It’s proof that a trip to Witch City can be as chic and stylish as it is historic and enchanting. I’m already dreaming of my next visit.
